Episode 149: Deep Dive into Exercise Programming, Planning, and Periodization

Quinn Henoch & Zak Gabor are back with another episode!  On this show, we tackle some topics around exercise prescription that we know you wrestle with too — how far out do we program for our rehabbing athletes? Is it different than an athlete training only for “performance”?  What does “periodization” really mean, and how do we balance being flexible enough with our programming to account for the volatility of rehab, while not losing sight of the big picture?  They discuss it all.

Hope you enjoy

Episode 148: Current Tendinopathy Landscape w/ Peter Malliaras

Quinn Henoch & Zak Gabor are back with another episode!  On this show, the CA squad sat down with Peter Malliaras who has done a TON of the research over the last decade on all things tendons and tendinopathy. You’ve probably come across some of his work, even if you didn’t realize it. He’s really helped to push the field forward. The cool thing is that he’s also a clinician, so he understands this stuff from multiple angles, and we all know how tricky tendon issue issues can be clinically. So, we’re super excited to have Peter share some of his knowledge with you on this one.

We hope you enjoy!
