PhD Candidate, lecturer and researcher Judd Kalkohoven out of Sydney, Australia gets on the podcast to answer all questions about tissue mechanics, training load, all things athletic injury and how he feels pain fits into his definition of injury! Episode 79: Coach’s Corner- An Inside Look with Jared



On our previous Coach’s Corner series, Quinn, John and Jared each broke down a case study. In this part 1 of a 3 part series, the team gets together to talk about their own training programs and how they each navigate any hurdles that come up in their training. Jared’s up first- whatta lucky guy! 

This episode dives into the details of Jared’s current training program and the adjustments he had to make after an injury. Jared talks about how slowing down and simplifying things in the gym hats transferred over to his everyday life as well!

Episode 78: The Student Series with James Chung



Wondering how communication and the environment affects how you learn to move? 

In this episode, PT student James Chung catches up with Chris and Quinn about his journey to PT school at Columbia University, what it’s like livin’ as a student in the big city and his passion for learning how others learn! 

James drops some knowledge about motor learning frameworks, how he uses them in clinical practice as a student and his opinions of how these frameworks may be lacking in a lot of orthopedic settings.
