Episode 145: Solving the Scaries of Mid Stage Rehab

On this show, Quinn Henoch & Zak Gabor discuss all of the things that make mid stage rehab challenging, and common pitfalls, like:

  • Sticking arbitrarily to rigid timelines and progressing before the athlete is ready
  • Waiting too long to start introducing basic entry points for your exercise categories
  • Not having a clear understanding or criteria for what qualities need to be prioritized

Also, we are VERY excited to introduce a new segment, where Zak and Quinn bring a little honey and vinegar to the rehab space — and Quinn got to put on his hater shades!  We’re still open to names for this segment, so feel free to help us out!

We hope you enjoy!

Episode 144: Travel PT – The Good, The Bad, & The Awesome w/ Kellen Cannon

On this show, we are joined by Kellen Cannon who is a badass Physical Therapist who loves working with active people and the athletic population within her own business — but, has also been a travel PT for several years now. And that’s the part that we really dive into on this show.  Travel PT seems like this huge unknown to a lot of people, and you definitely hear about all the cons and horror stories that are seemingly associated with it. But are those things even true? What are some of the pros? If this is ever something that you have considered for your own career, or know someone who is, this is the show.  Kellen goes into so much useful detail and gives us an insider perspective on the ins and outs of travel PT, and we’re really appreciative to her for sharing these insights.

We hope you enjoy!
